If you started creating new sessions and logins in G4 and would like to have them still used, you can type about:config in the address bar, search for and toggle it to true once more. In G4.0.1 it is now OFF by default and your previous G3 session will be restored. This privacy focused preference only allows cookies, cache and local storage accessible by websites on the same domain and creates a separate session to when it is disabled. This was due to the setting of First Party Isolation to ON by default. So, all considered, that Tab Bar bug makes 4.0.0.1 unusable for anyone who likes their tabs in the upper part of the screen.When upgrading from G3 → G4.0.0, you may have had your login sessions on various websites unavailable. Changing the Tab Bar Position in Settings has no effect whatsoever.

Then on clicking on one of the bookmarks, the Tab Bar appears at the bottom overlaying the Status Bar.

Basically, immediately after installation everything seemingly looks fine. G4 v4.0.0.1 now keeps Themes, Extensions, and Bookmarks and it also keeps the Zoom Control and Full Page Control on the Status Bar.Ĭ) Despite keeping my previous settings for the Tab Bar as Top below address Bar, it went and put the Tab Bar at the bottom OVER THE TOP of the Status Bar.
